Ask this question to a group of people - which pet is better, Cat or Dog?  It will turn out to be a subject of a good argument between dog lovers and cats lovers!  Well, here we bring ten reasons why dogs are better than cats:

1. Dogs are fearless and strong and hence protect your home from strangers or burglars, while

cats are more likely run off and hide while seeing strangers as they are timid by nature.

2. Dogs are easy to train when compared with cats.

3. Dogs listen to you and understand what you are trying to tell them while cats ignore you.

4. Dogs help you to keep yourself active and fit as they demand a regular walk.

5. Like the famous saying goes - 'Dogs are man's best friend', no other animal shares

such a special bond with humans.

6. Dogs are more adaptable compared to cats. They bond with people rather than places.

They are happy no matter where you take them.

7. Dogs come in various sizes, hence you can choose one according to your suitability.

8. Dogs understand when you are sad and they try to comfort you, cats on the

other hand, are only concerned about getting fed and do not care about how you feel.

9. When you take your dog along for a ride, he will sit next to you, while cats will either won't go with you at all, or if they do, they will choose their own place.

10. Dogs don't need litter boxes, cats on the other hand need them as the former can be house trained.

Note: Well, the article isn't meant to hurt the Cat lovers. Cats too are amazing and ideal pets and to choose between the two animals is an individual's own personal choice.
